Online Application for Texas Association of Property Tax Professionals Membership
The process for application to membership is as follows: 1) Confirm your membership type & eligibility. 2) Submit your online application. 3) Membership application is reviewed and approved by the Board of Directors. 4) Your TAPTP.org user id is activated and emailed to you. 5) Once your membership is activated you can make payment for your membership through Membership renewal or mail check to TAPTP. 6) Please view "Using our website" before beginning.
Membership Types & Eligibility Requirements
There are two membership types within TAPTP.org. Please select the type for which you are applying and confirm your membership eligibility for that type by checking the requirements.
Note: First membership of each company/business must be a voting membership. Only one voting member per company/firm.

- Regular Membership (voting member) - $495.00
- Regular/Associate Membership (non-voting member) - $395.00

- I am at least 21 years of age.
Eligibility Requirement 2:*
- I am employed on a full time basis (except for time spent in management of property owned by self or family) in the profession of property tax management for other than governmental entities and those employed by such entities.

I hereby apply for membership in the Texas Association of Property Tax Professionals, Inc. and certify that the above information is correct, and upon request I will submit to verification of such information. I understand that if my application for membership is approved, any false statements or omissions on the application or any other material required for membership approval shall be considered sufficient cause for revocation of my membership. TAPTP is hereby authorized to investigate my personal history as given on this application. I have read both the Bylaws and Code of Ethics and agree to be governed by them as well as to promote the objectiveness of the Association. I certify that less than ten percent of my income, billing, or services involve representing the interests of the State Comptroller's office or any agency or political subdivision of the State in connection with State or local taxation. If I am an attorney, I certify that I do not represent any such entity in connection with State or local taxation.

Membership is an annual, renewable subscription based on date payment is received by TAPTP. Company or personal checks may include all applying members and should be made payable to TAPTP. In accordance with IRS rules, it has been determined that membership dues payments are not deductible as an ordinary and necessary business expense.
